Quality before intensity

Welcome to the weekly warble here at Ideanthro Movement.

This week I'm going to talk about 'quality before intensity' in the gym.

By the time many of us enter the gym as adults we've had a lifetime to develop little niggles and awkward movement patterns.

And to a certain extent this is ok. Human bodies are very resilient.

But there is a limit to that resilience.

This is why we prioritise quality movement.

The greater the quality in our movement, the more likely these niggles and strange movement patterns are to go away, and the more resilient we become. It's not a magic bullet, but it is a sound foundation.
