Why we tailor our group training to the individual

Welcome to the weekly warble here at Ideanthro Movement.

This week I'm going to talk about why, in our group classes, we tailor each session to each and every person in the class.

The simple answer to this is that our bodies, how they feel and the way we move are shaped by the lives that we have lead. The jobs we do, the injuries we've had and the sports we've played, all influence who we are today. That means that each of us benefits from movement tailored to us as individuals.

Now, this doesn't mean that everyone needs a completely unique program. We are, after all, all humans, and as such all have similar baseline movement needs. But tailoring a class to your specific body, even just a little bit, really helps!

What this means is that you can come to a class with us and know that you will be doing some variation of the same program as everyone else, but tailored to suit your current specific needs and abilities.
